Digital/Eco Print Series

Eco printing is a new concept for me. It is more direct, both in its physicality and in its conversation. This process uses the traditional techniques of natural dyeing combined with contact printing. The process is messy and has the element of the uncontrollable unknown. It is an experiment in patience. With time, synergy happens... what remains is the essence and its history.

Digital/Eco printing is the next step in this process. Moving the eco prints into the digital world and rethinking it one can see a new conversation emerging. At present, like any new language, I am learning the vocabulary, making small sentences and creating new stories. The new image is then printed again on a digital printer as a signed edition.
